Step into the grounding world of clay hand-building & decorative techniques.
No experience is necessary. This workshop can be enjoyed by beginners, regular crafters, or seasoned artists.
Part 1 | Making Workshop
In this workshop, you’ll create up to two ceramic vessels, each infused with a touch of your own style and creativity. Using both the pinch pot and coil methods, you’ll explore form, shape, and texture to make a pair of vessels that are both unique and complementary, to bring ceramic art into your home.
This is a chance to slow down, connect with the clay, and leave with pieces that feel personal and meaningful.
Throughout the workshop you’ll be guided through the process in a supportive and friendly setting, with examples to inspire your own creative process.
Once your vessels are complete, they will be glazed and fired ready to be collected within 3-4 weeks or you can learn more by attending our partner workshop - “Alternate Surface Firings”.
Optional Part 2 | Decorating Workshop
Step into the magical outdoor studio of ‘Beautiful Things by Jasmine’ to explore ancient techniques with stunning one-of-a-kind results to apply to your pot surfaces.
Select one alternative firing experience from the options listed below and book during your MAKE Session. (additional $80). Once fired, your vessels will be delivered to ‘Beautiful Things by Jasmine’ in Banora Point ready for your next workshop.
