Adult Courses

These affordable and fun short courses are designed for anyone wanting to revisit their creative side, dip their toe in a few different techniques or explore a particular medium. Each course focuses on foundation skills in either Painting and Drawing, Clay Hand Building Techniques or Mixed Media.
No Experience or skills necessary.

After completing any one of these courses, you can continue your creative journey by joining the Tribe Social Club starting in May 2025. In these sessions you simply come along to the studio space each week with your materials to practice your favourite medium alongside other like-minded creatives.

4 Week Foundation Course | Painting and Drawing

This supportive 4-week course is for anyone who's curious about art or wants to reconnect with their creative side — especially if it’s been a while.

Each week, we’ll explore a different drawing or painting technique in a small, friendly group (max 8). I’ll guide you step by step, at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to chat and enjoy a cuppa together.

Mediums covered: Pencil, Pen and Ink, Watercolour and Acrylic.

Duration: 10am-12.30pm (Week Day TBC) commencing May.

4 Week Foundation Course | Hand-Building with Clay

Get your hands dirty and immerse yourself in clay,,

This supportive 4-week course is for anyone who's curious about working with clay and would like to try the basic techniques of handbuilding.

Each week, we’ll explore a different technique in a small, friendly group (max 8). I’ll guide you step by step, at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to chat and enjoy a cuppa together.

Techniques covered: Pinching, coiling, draping, slab building, adding texture. underglazing, & glazing. (Firing Included)
