Printing Workshop | Cynotype
Introduce yourself to the world of cynotype printing, a magical photo-process. This simple yet beautiful technique produces stunning botanical monoprints on an indigo background to create artworks to display in your home.
You will be provided with all the tools and materials to experiment including a selection of plants and flowers.
Please also feel free to bring your own foraged plants, herbs and flowers, freshly cut, pressed or dried. Varieties with slender stems and leaves and light coloured petals work best to allow the light to pass through. (e.g. baby's breath, lavender, dill, hibiscus , dandelions, ferns, white pansies)
The workshop runs for 2.5 hours, providing space and time to allow yourself to experiment and play so you can really enjoy this lovely art process. At the end, you'll proudly take home your unique botanical artworks to frame and display at home, a beautiful reminder of your creative experience.
Location:
Artisan Tribe Studio | Unit 14, 21 Morton Street, Chinderah
Workshop includes:
All the equipment and materials needed to create.
Guided step by step instructions in a supportive and friendly setting.
