














Clay Workshop | Temenos Altar
If you're looking for a mindfully creative experience, discover the therapeutic practice of clay hand-building
In this workshop you will hand-build and decorate a beautiful, bespoke clay temenos altar with mantle to hold a candle, tea light, incense stick or crystals.
A temenos or altar is a spiritual place typically built from natural earth element such as clay, it can be wall-hung or placed on a sideboard, as quiet spot to to take a breath and gather your thoughts, acknowledge your affirmation or practice meditation.
No experience is necessary. A step-by-step demonstration and support is given throughout the session to ensure everyone creates something they love. A variety of affirmations and symbol imagery are provided to copy or inspire you with your design.
You will not only learn a new skill but also craft a meaningful piece to take home.
Once finished all items will be fired & glazed to be collected within 2-3 weeks.

The studio location is just 1 minute drive from the Pacific Highway (BP Service Station),
10 min from South Gold Coast and 25 min from Byron.
Workshop includes:
All the equipment and materials.
Guided step by step instructions in a supportive and friendly environment.
Firing Service included.
A choice of tea, coffee spring water and nibbles are provided and you are welcome to BYO your favourite tipple (glasses provided)
